Ahmad Hameed received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Al-Rasheed College of Engineering and Sciences, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1995. The M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Radar and Microwave from the same college in 2002. He was a recipient of a Ph.D. scholarship funded by the Iraqi Government to complete the PhD in India, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi in the major of Electrical and Communication Engineering in 2012. He successfully completes the study and received the PhD degree in 2014. Dr. Ahmed published more than 40 in reputable international journals, Arab and Iraqi journals. Besides, he is an author of 12 textbooks registered in his major in the Arabic language. Also, Assistant Professor Ahmed is an author to 4 chapters that have been published on the Springer platform. He was a chair of 2 conferences sessions in Indonesia and Tunisia. Dr. Ahmed is a reviewer of international journals and conferences, as well as the Arabic and Iraqi journals and conferences. Along with his academic job, Dr Ahmed is a member of the postgraduate exam committees for more than 4 years. He has also steered more than 7 researchers to M.Sc graduation. Besides, he delivered many courses in his major at many international institutions and universities. Additionally, he was a director of the Division of Quality Assurance and University Performance in the department for the academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, occupied a rapporteur position of the Electromechanical Systems Engineering branch from 2016-2017, member of university committees, a consultant in the Iraqi Engineers organization, member of the Union of Arab Engineers. Assistant Professor Ahmed has currently occupied the Head of Navigation and Guidance Engineering Branch, Electromechanical Engineering Department, the University of Technology since 2018.
