Raed Abbas Jessam received the B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Al-Rasheed College of Engineering and Science, the University of Technology in 1999. The M.Sc. degree from Mechanical Engineering Department, Power Systems from the same university in 2005. Raed was a recipient of a Ph.D scholarship in the Mechanical Engineering, Energy, from the Univesiti Technology PETRONAS, Malaysia. He successfully completes the study and received the Ph.D. degree in 2018. Raed is an academic staff member at the Electromechanical Engineering Department, University of Technology. He has participated in 5 international conferences in Malaysia as well as teaching many courses of undergraduate students in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Dr. Raed published 7 papers in reputable international journals. Along with the academic job, Dr. Raed occupied different positions such as a member of the exam office for both undergraduate and postgraduate. Besides, Dr. Raed has wide experience in many fields of his research interest such as CAD / CAM, CFD, power plant maintenance, gas turbine engines. Currently, he is a member of the teamwork project from Malaysia - Solar Thermal Advanced Research Center [STARC]. His research interest are energy, renewable energy, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamic.
