The Department of Electromechanical Engineering holds a scientific symposium on the importance of air navigation engineering and its role and requirements in the labor market.

  

 

The Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology held a scientific symposium on the importance of air navigation engineering in its role and requirement in the labor market by presence of the President of the University of Technology  Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer, Head of Electromechanical Engineering Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Hosham Salim Anead, group of military leaders in the Ministry of Defense- Air Defense and Ministry of Agriculture - Directorate of Air Monitoring and General Union of Air Transport in addition to number of department heads at the University of Technology.

The symposium included one session chaired by Prof. Dr. Hussein Jassim Al-Alkawi and Rapporteur, lecturer. Faten Nabil Abdullah. Two lectures have been delivered, the first was entitled Future prospects to get a job as an aviation engineer br researcher and consultant Fares Fadel Kitan. The second lecture delivered by the pilot Captain Arafat Abbas Tanash entitled : Information systems and their impact on air navigation.

The symposium consisted on opening of the first scientific exhibition for scientific projects for students of electromechanical engineering department by the president of the University of Technology and attenders showed the students scientific outputs, where they were praised for their achievements.

The head of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, Dr. Hosham Salim, mentioned to the importance of scientific exhibitions that showed an innovative mentality enjoyed by the student, reflecting what he gained during the lectures through the developed curriculums in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, These efforts wish success to all. At the end of the symposium, its came out with several recommendations
