The Department of Electromechanical Engineering awards the master’s degree with honors for designing a mobile robot to work in hazardous areas 

  

 

A postgraduate student in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering

(Nada Hamid Falih) obtained a master's degree with a grade of excellent for her thesis tagged:

 

Design Mobile Robot for the hazardous Environment Working

 

The thesis dealt with designing and manufacturing a mobile robot that can help humans to work in hazardous environments, especially those containing very dangerous chemicals, and the robot consists of a mobile base and a five-degree arm of freedom designed through a solidwork program and manufactured with 3D Printing technology and is controlled by Through virtual reality technology via the palm of the controller and the motion sensor.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Razzaq Yas from the University of Technology, Department of Electromechanical Engineering as Chairman, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Siham Ahmed Hashem from the Central Technical University / Institute of Technical Trainers, MD Tariq Muhammad Hamzah, in addition to Prof. Prof. Dr. Abdul-Jabbar Awaid Hanafish and Prof. Dr. Wissam Esmat Abdel-Latif are supervisors, all from the Electromechanical Engineering Department
