Samar Jaafar Ismael received the B.Sc, M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology (UOT), Baghdad, Iraq, in 2000, 2003 and 2017, respectively. She is a staff member in Electromechanical Engineering (EME) Department, the University of Technology since 2005. Along with academic job, Dr. Samar currently occupying many positions such as the director of the graduate studies division since 2018, member of the committee for graduate studies examination since 2017, director of the EME department's electronic website since 2017, member of the e-learning committee since 2018, and a member of the committee for the issuance of documents for graduate students. She has finished the Google classroom training application course and become an e-learning advisor in the EME Department. Also, Samar is a member of the syndicate of Iraqi engineers. As far as her academic experience is concerned, Dr. Samar has many publications in electrical engineering. Besides, she was a peer reviewer of the Engineering and Technology Journal and reviewed many publications of the third scientific conference of Electrical Engineering, SCEE2018, UOT, Iraq. She also worked as a reviewer in 3rd International Conference of Cihan University, Erbil on Communication Engineering and Computer Science (CIC-COCOS’19), Cihan University –Erbil, 29-30 April 2019, Erbil. Finally, Samar act as a reviewer and head tracker of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the first international conference, ICEMEA’19, UOT, Baghdad, Iraq. Her research interests include power system analysis, artificial intelligence algorithms, graph theory and electrical machines aiming to develop many scientific fields, especially in education.

Jamal A. K. Mohammed was born in Iraq, in 1967. He received the B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1996, and 2002, respectively, from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. His PhD degree was awarded in 2007 by University of Technology, Iraq, Baghdad. Professor Jamal is an academic staff member at the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, University of Technology. His research interests include electrical machines, electrical drives, power electronics, Elevators, and renewable energy (PV solar cells). He has also published more than 33 conference and journal works, and steered more than 5 researchers to MS.c graduation.

After that, he worked as an assistant teacher in the Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology until 2018. Then, he has been nominated to study the PhD at University Technology PETRONAS, Malaysia. The PhD was earned in 2019 in the major of Applied Mechanics. Currently, Dr. Nasser works as a lecturer in the Electromechanical Engineering Department, University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq.
