The president of university of Technology honors the department for its excellence in evaluating the performance according to the criteria of the national classification of universities and obtaining the first place in the corresponding scientific disciplines

        The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Amin Douai Thamer, honored the Department of Engineering and Electromechanical Engineering for its excellence in evaluating the performance according to the criteria of the national classification of the quality of Iraqi universities in the institutional performance and obtaining the first place in the corresponding scientific competencies. This came in the central celebration held on the University Gardens on the occasion of the forty-fourth anniversary to establish.

The head of the department, Dr. Hosham Salim Anead, received a honorary shield from the university president. He pointed out that this honor was an inevitable result of the efforts made by everyone in the department of electromechanical engineering and dedication to work, especially after the great achievements achieved recently through the creation of many Branches such as unmanned aircraft systems engineering and engineering of oil and gas equipment, which is still in the process of obtaining official approvals, stressing the need to continue work in order to push education forward and contribute to the service of our dear country and congratulates the faculty, employees and students of this achievement.

Students of the UAV Engineering Branch visit the Aviation Technology Research Center

      The Department of Electromechanical Engineering organized a scientific visiting to the students of the first stage, Aircraft Systems Engineering Branch, to the Aeronautical Technology Research Center of the Industrial Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Science and Technology.
