Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honors the head of the Electromechanical Engineering Department for getting the National Accreditation for the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch

 

    Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi honored head of the Electromechanical Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Hosham Salim Anead for getting the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering branch the national accreditation granted by the Iraqi Council for the Accreditation of Engineering Education in Iraq.

This honored came during a special ceremony for launching of the International Student Application Organization within program “Study in Iraq”, in the presence of representatives of international missions and organizations in addition to university presidents and deans of governmental and private colleges.

Head of the Electromechanical Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Hosham Salim Anead, presented his thanks and gratitude to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for this honor, which is a great motivation to do more to improve the educational process.

Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education awards national program accreditation to the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering

 

 

Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education awarded the national program accreditation for the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering for a period of six years, starting from the year 2021-2022, as the first engineering branch to fulfill this achievement at the country level.

Head of the department, Prof. Dr. Hosham Salim Anead, argued that this achievement considers the first in the country, and verified due to efforts of professors and associate’s staff. Prof. Dr. Hosham indicated that the department has worked for many years in order to obtain programmatic accreditation by applying all the required standards and following up all the observations that the ministerial committees referred to in their rounds Inspection of the department, praising the great efforts made by all professors and associate’s staff.

Head of the department presented his congratulations to all the professors, associates and students in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering in general and the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch in particular, and emphatic the importance of maintaining this achievement by continuing commitment to the national program accreditation standards, noting that the graduate has the right to show program accreditation in graduation certificates for six years starting from the academic year 2021-2022
