The Women's Empowerment Unit of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering Participates in a Solidarity Stand with the Women of Gaza

The Women's Empowerment Unit of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology participated in a solidarity stand organized by the Minister's Office/Women's Empowerment Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The main focus of the stand was to announce the solidarity of Iraqi women with the women of Gaza. The stand took place in Tahrir Square in Baghdad.

The head of the Women's Empowerment Unit of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, Ms. Aasifa Mahdi Mohammed, said that this solidarity stand expresses the importance of the role of women and their participation in standing with the women of Gaza due to the violations committed by the Zionist occupation.

Units of women's empowerment from ministries, universities, and organizations also participated in the stand, where they praised the steadfastness of Palestinian women. They raised banners condemning the genocide against Palestinian women, children, and elders.
