The Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering Branch in the Electromechanical Engineering Department organized a workshop entitled “3D Printing, Its Types, and Usage”. Prof. Dr. Raheeq Ismael Ibrahim, the Head of the Oil and Gas Equipment Branch, and some of the department’s teachers and students attended the workshop

Prof. Dr. Aqeel Abdul Karim delivered the workshop. He introduced 3D printing technology, which can provide students with efficient engineering tools and educational resources to prepare them for the future. Also, it is aimed to update faculty members on the latest related technologies and their applications to prototype parts for medical substitutions, robotics, and other application fields

With kind and love, the head of the Electromechanical Engineering Department, the Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal held an Iftar banquet for the students in the dormitory on the seventeenth day of  Ramadan

The department presents this initiative as part of a series of initiatives to promote humanitarian activities at the university

The students expressed their happiness to have their breakfast launch with the teaching staff in the holy month of Ramadan, with the participation and presence of the Head of the Electromechanical Engineering Department, accompanied with the Assist. President for Administrative Affairs in the university, Prof. Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman.  This occasion is also attended by the Administration Affairs Assistant of the Department,  Asst. Prof. Dr. Anis Fadel Saad, and the Scientific Affairs Assistant, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan Jabal, and the director of the dorms, the Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Najah Jawad, with some more lecturers and employees in the department and the university

The head of the department said that we are keen to fulfill the needs of our students and to participate with them in all circumstances and times, providing them with every initiative that can support them in raising their morale. Dr. Ghassan thanked everyone who contributed to this

The Department of Electromechanical Engineering organized a training workshop entitled How to use LinkedIn

The Graduates’ Follow-up Unit in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology organized a training workshop entitled (How to use LinkedIn), on  3/28/2024, at Al-Kindi Hall, in the presence of the fourth-year students and some graduates

The workshop, delivered by the Assistant Lecturer Mr. Ahmed Imad J., the head of the Graduates Follow-up Unit, explained the definition of the LinkedIn platform and the correct steps to create a professional profile

The workshop included several topics related to defining the LinkedIn platform, how to create an account, how to create a professional profile, how to use the platform, the importance of the platform for communicating with companies and obtaining training and job opportunities, and what are the appropriate steps to spread the account and reach the most significant number of companies, and how to search and apply for jobs from the platform

The importance of this workshop lies in preparing the students and helping them market their capabilities correctly to companies through this professional communication platform

The Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch organized a workshop on the role of the Green Team in spreading the culture of environmental awareness 

The Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch in the Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized a workshop entitled “The Role of the Green Team in Spreading the Environmental Awareness Culture.” The workshop, held in the electronic classroom, is attended by some staff members and students 

The workshop, prepared by Dr. Ali Abdul Wahab Ismail, aimed to describe the environmental awareness and its related aspects and the role of forming the student’s green team to promote this culture, thus investing more in using renewable energy sources in Iraq 

The workshop included several topics, the most important of which is the idea of volunteering activities for afforestation campaigns, waste recycling programs, energy conservation programs, and renewable energy investing.  Enhancing the prospects of cooperating with centers and institutions is a strategic approach that promotes the culture of environmental protection
